Celebrating 25 Years of Action for Canadian and International Biodiversity
In 2018, countries around the world are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the entry into force of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Twenty-five years of actions around the world and in Canada to conserve and sustainably use nature and its wonders. Canada is proud to have been the first industrialized country to have ratified the CBD and that Montreal has been the host of the Convention Secretariat since 1996.
